PCI-DSS Level 1 Infrastructure
We mandate Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) across all OmniPOS edge devices. Raw Primary Account Numbers (PANs) are encrypted at the moment of swipe/dip and tokenized immediately by the NMI gateway. POSitiveRails routes tokens, never raw data.
Digital Asset (Web3) Insulation
Traditional fiat acquirers (Priority, PayRoc) strictly prohibit unverified cryptocurrency volume. Our routing logic identifies digital asset payloads at the terminal level and bifurcates them directly to Nuvei/Simplex. Standard acquirers never touch or see a crypto transaction on their ledger.
Durbin Amendment Surcharging
For our retail clients utilizing the POSitiveRails surcharge logic, our terminal firmware automatically detects the BIN (Bank Identification Number) of the presented card. If a debit card is detected, the surcharge fee is instantly suppressed to ensure absolute compliance with federal law and Visa/MC operating rules.
